Five Things To Take To Disneyland.

Hello everyone since I am going to Disneyland Paris next week for three days I thought that I would do a post about things that you should take with you. This can be for any Disney park holiday from Disneyland Paris to Walt Disney World so I hope this helps to give you some Ideas.

 1. Disney Attire

Any Disney trip needs Disney fashion especially for meeting characters e.g If you are a big mickey lover and wear something with him on it will make the experience so much better because it will get his attention, this will mostly happen with any character.
If you don't want to spend lots of money on clothes in the parks because it can be pricey I strongly recommend you buy everything before you go, a great place to get great affordable Disney clothes is Primark; they have a wide range things such as tops, shorts, flip flops, PJ's and more with the prices ranging from £3-£12.
If like me you like vintage or unique hand made pieces then I recommend going to Beyond Retro or Rokit they always have great vintage Disney pieces a lot of the time from the parks.

For unique hand made pieces I recommend you visit GeekLaChic which sells a variety of different clothing pieces as well as  unique one off Disney pieces from dresses to skirts. The Princess skirt In the image above is from them and cost me £20 and Is really good quality and fits the body well. I also recommend KelleysDeli who creates pieces out vintage fabrics. The Tye dyed Minnie shirt in the image above was one her many stunning creations and cost £25 and because It Is long and baggy it is perfect for the hot weather because you can style It with a pair of shorts and will keep you cool because It doesn't stick to the body. If you would like to see style this shirt in a previous post click here.

2. Bubble Bath
After a long day in the parks you are going to be feeling tired, achy and If you visit in the summer possibly hot and sweaty so why not cure this with a nice bubble bath using more more than this lovely Mary Poppins bubble bath. This bubble bath can be found In Pound land and has a sweet smell to it. If you are unable to find this bubble bath luckily for you Pound land also has a wide range of different Disney bubbles baths such as Cinderella and to go with it you can get a variety of Disney Sponges and flannels.

If you are staying In a Disney hotel then you will find in your bathroom that you have some bars of soap with Mickey Mouse on.On previous trips to Disneyland Paris I have found mini bottles of Mickey Mouse shampoo also however this might have changed and I do not know what you get in other Disney theme park hotels as I have not been to
them but I am sure you will probably get some Disney themed things.

3. Fujifilm Instax Camera

If you are a lover of Polaroid style pictures then this is the perfect thing to take. This camera is not quite like a traditional Polaroid camera as its shape is a lot more modern and the images are credit card size but they come out very nice and still have that 90's Polaroid feel to them. The best thing about this camera is that you can get a variety of styled sheets along with original plain white ones, if you want Disney ones then I recommend looking on EBay because they are only available in japan and china but can be shipped. This camera will be perfect  for taking a iconic photo of the Sleeping Beauty castle.
If you do not currently own a Instax camera and would like to get one then visit Amazon were you will be able to get one for just under £60 ; they cost a lot more else where.

4. Disney Bags

A bag is one of the most important things to take to Disneyland to keep all those theme park necessities together so why not take a Disney bag. If you are on a budget then I recommend going to Primark who currently have a wide range of tote bags with different styles on such as the Ariel one In the Image and they cost between £2-£3. They are  really good quality and can hold quite a bit In them and will definitely fit perfectly in the parks. The second bag In the image Is also from Primark and is a satchel style bag and cost £8.
If you are looking for something that Is a bit more pricey then I recommend that you look at the new Vans collection which is filled with different Disney themed shoes, clothes and backpacks you will be sure to find something you love on there.

5. Make up Bag

If you are someone who loves make up then why not take a Disney themed make up bag with you on your trip. The make up bag In the Image Is from Primark whom have a varied amount of pretty and affordable make up bags costing between £3-£4 and have a few Disney ones such as this one, I have also seen Bambi and Minnie Mouse ones.
Because this is quite a big make up bag you could also use it as a wash bag.

I hope that you find this post helpful and If anyone Is planning or going to any of the Disney parks I hope have a magical time. I would to hear what you would take with you on a Disney trip so please feel free to say In the comments.

MCM Expo

Hello, last weekend was the MCM Expo held at the Excel centre In London and is held every year in May and October. This was very exciting because I was able to attend both saturday and sunday and cosplay on both days. On saturday I went as Belle from Beauty and the Beast and I attended a Disney meet were other Disney cosplayers came together to meet and to also take photos and videos. Overall the meet was the best part of the whole weekend and I made some lovely freinds and got to take some rallu nice pictures. The most beautiful part of the meet was when a couple dressed as Cinderella and Prince Charming from the real life film got enagaged in front of everyone.

The dress was custom made from Ebay and the black pumps were from Primark. The Beauty and the Beast Book that I am holding Is something I have had since I was little and was published in the 90's. The Mrs Pott's necklace was handmade by myself.

Me with a stunning Beast cosplayer who was sweet enough to give all the Belle cosplayers a rose.

Cosplaying at MCM really is so much fun because you have the chance to become your favorite characters and meet some great people and take some great pictures so I strongly reccomend taking part it will make the comic con experience ten times better.

                                              Stunning Cinderella Cosplayers.

Me with a awesome Jack Sparrow cosplayer who really reminded me of the real one. please check his facebook page to see more great photos and videos and charity work.

My BAFTAS Experience.

This past weekend was the EE BAFTAS awards one of the biggest film events in the film calander. I had the opportunity to go since it falled on a weekend but like everyone else who went I had to go through the process of camping outside the theatre to get a wristband.

On Friday I had to wake up early and go down to covent garden to get my place in the queue I was lucky enough to be 18th , I stayed down there for a hour and then came home for the rest of the day whilst other premiere goers kept my space. In the hours before I went back I thought I was mad for doing this because it was really cold but I knew it would be worth it on the day. When it got to the actual night me and my friends went to a resturant for a couple hours to keep warm and when we got there we wrapped in lots of layers and onesies I felt so silly in the middle on london in a cat onesie! but It kept me warm all night long. Because the theatre we camped under was next to a nightclub there was lots of noise til 3am and the theatre lights did not help but somehow I did manage to get some sleep.

The next morning started early as we had to clear space on the path and doorways. At 1pm the time came to get a wristband for the event and it also meant I could go home and come back the next morning. Getting the wristband got abit competitive arguements started with people and when they started to take us in groups to the other side of the road and a few people pushed in front of me and I ended with wristband number 24.

When I arrived there was atleast 100 people already there ready to camp out.

I wore so many layers including a cat onesie it was so cosy but I did feel silly.

On the day of the BAFTAS we had to arrive back for 12pm so that we could get in to the                barriers but ofcourse it was an hour later that we ended up moving. When we got in it all looked so glamourous with the red carpet and the big BAFTA mask it made me even more excited. I managed to get a front row spot right near the drop off which usually is the best place to be at these events because there is more chance of the stars stopping. I had a couple of hours to kill before the event started but because there was so many people around it was hard to do much besides talking to the people around me. One of the great things about doing these events is that you get to meet so many different people.
Stars began to arrive around 5.30 thats when things got mad, useally at premieres there is only a couple of stars and they come seperate so you can be prepared but this was so different there were so many stars all at once and it got alot more squished because everyone was trying to get photos and autographs. I was lucky enough to have photos from Sam Clafin, James Mcavoy, Kara Tointon, Alice Eve and Henry Cavill. I also got lots of autographs from some of the above and also Ralph Finnes, Reese Witherspoon, Keira Knightly and Natelie Dormer who was really nice to me and complimented my make up.

                                                           The BAFTAS set up.

The lovely Sam Clafin who play Finnick in the Hunger Games and recently starred in The Riot Club.

The lovely James Mcavoy who stars in Xmen, Narnia and Penelope to name a few.

These are just a couple of my selfies as the others didn't come out so well but over all I had such a great experience and hopefully I will  get to go again next year and who know I will see. I hope you all got the chance to watch the Baftas and I hope you all have a great week.

so little time , so much to do

Hey everyone, I know It has been a while since I last posted I had some deadlines at university to meet and there was ALOT of work. but hopefully these next few weeks I will have some things to share.

These past couple of weeks have been quite eventful and exciting I have attended some movie premeieres and Apple Store Q&A's and got to meet some of my favorite actors and actresses.
I really love going to these events the atmosphere is all so magical and you get to see such talented actors in the flesh, when I was young never in a million years fought I would get the chance to meet the likes of Alan Rickman and Daniel Radcliffe and many others but I guess thats the beauty of living in London.

The first two I went to were at the same time and location and were for the BFI film festival they were A Little Chaos directed and starring Alan Rickman and then The Dissapearance of Elanor Rigby which was starring James Mcavoy.

James Mcavoy heading in to the cinema.

The next premiere I went to was the closing night gala premiere of Fury which stars Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman and Shia Lebouf. I was very lucky because I arrived there just two hours before it started and as I arrived a extra pen was opened and I was able to get autographs from Jason Issacs and Shia Lebouf.

I couldn't get any good pictures accept this one of Brad Pitt arriving at the premiere.

The last premiere I attended was Horns starring Daniel Radcliffe and Juno Temple.
I was lucky enough to get autographs and photos with the both of them.
