"By The Sea, Wouldn't That Be Smashing"

Brighton Beach

Brighton Pier
Last week I went on a day trip to the seaside town Brighton for my sisters birthday and for the first time and really enjoyed It. There was so much to do and with limited time we had a lot to jam pack In to one day and we managed to do It. Firstly we took a walk along the pier to see the popular attractions and arcades, The pier had two fairly big arcades on It filled with your favourite arcades games like the classic 2p machines and who can forget struggle we all go through to win a toy from the claw machine. If you are a person who loves rides then you will enjoy the attractions the pier has to offer as It has rides to cater to everyone from merry go rounds to roller coasters for all those thrill seekers out there, If you are planning to go on multiple rides then I strongly recommend getting the £20 wrist band which will get you on all the rides as many times  as you want.

Here I am wearing a Little Mermaid bow from Hot Topic

After exploring the pier we went and sat on the beach and with It being a stone beach It wasn't the most comfortable place but It was still nice with the waves splashing against the shore and the smell of seaweed and fish In the air It Is just what you want to see and hear when you go to the seaside.

The Laines

ChoccyWockyDooDah
After spending sometime on the beach we decided to get some lunch at Ed's Diner which Is great If you love that 50's American diner feel and this followed with some exploring of what shops Brighton had to offer and we happy find lots good shops like TopShop, H&M at Churchill's Square and many more. We also discovered the Laines which are filled with lots Independent cake shops, Antique shops and the Famous ChoccyWoccyDooDah shop which was filled with many people waiting to go In their cafe and to purchase unique chocolate treats, I recommend you visit you will want to eat It all. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the North Laine which Is filled with Vintage shops and Independent Business's selling art, photos and more I will definitely be blogging about It on my next visit.

We left to come back to London at 5pm to come home and after a 2 and a half hour coach journey to Victoria we had to endure  another two journey that would usually take half an hour due to the Tube strike but despite that It was a lovely day and I can't to return.
