Whilst I was on holiday In LA I really wanted to treat myself to some more more pricier make-up and I always wanted to try the brand Benefit so I decided to start of with the how to look the best at everything set which comes with a tube of porefessional cream, foundation, concealer and finishing powder. Overall I am very happy with this set each Item compliments the other and really gives full coverage all day long. I have been struggling for a while to find a product that gives me coverage as I have got some ache scaring but since using this It Is barely noticeable.

Another thing that won me over was the beautiful packaging, all of Benefits products have really pretty packaging It has a vintage feel to It and also gives you the feeling that you are buying quality Items as that Is very Important when buying make-up after all you are putting It on your skin. Another great thing Is that this set comes with a tips and tricks booklet to help you If you are unsure of what to do. Overall I give this set a 5 out of 5 rating and strongly recommend It If you struggle to full get full coverage with other foundation
products. Benefit have a variety of products such as foundations, lip sticks, eye liners, mascaras and perfumes and more so If you looking for these then benefit If your go to place for quality beautifully packaged products.

The Gabriella Lindley (velvetgh0st) Collection From Primark.

Yesterday was the launch of the new bedroom collection at Primark by Youtuber Gabriella Lindley (velvetgh0st), I was very excited for this collection as It Is very cat themed so of course I had to go and get It the second It was available. The collection has a variety of things Including bedding, cushions, mugs, a smoothie cup, a sleeping mask, fairy lights, a door hook with "sparkle like a diamond" and a frame with "being yourself Is the prettiest thing you can be". I decided to get the bedding and the cushions but I found the whole collection to be so adorable, high quality and unique to anything Primark has had In past home ware collections.

The attention to detail on the packaging has been very well done I love the mix of the black and pink fonts with the pattern that's used on a lot of the products and of course the adorable font used for Gabriella's name and I love how It has some texture to It.
The fabric on the bedding Is really soft and really comfortable to sleep In and really brings some colour Into your room, I love how the quilt cover has the triangular pattern with pastel colours and the pillows have a cats face on with "lets sleep In" written on It because It keeps with the cat theme within the collection without It being to much. The cushions are very comfortable and match nicely with the bedding and really do complete the bed If you are someone who likes having cushions on show.

Overall I rate this collection 10 out of 10 for good quality, design and also the prices of each Item are very reasonable and affordable so If you are a cat lover or just looking for new bedding or bedroom Items then I strongly recommend this collection.

"By The Sea, Wouldn't That Be Smashing"

Brighton Beach

Brighton Pier
Last week I went on a day trip to the seaside town Brighton for my sisters birthday and for the first time and really enjoyed It. There was so much to do and with limited time we had a lot to jam pack In to one day and we managed to do It. Firstly we took a walk along the pier to see the popular attractions and arcades, The pier had two fairly big arcades on It filled with your favourite arcades games like the classic 2p machines and who can forget struggle we all go through to win a toy from the claw machine. If you are a person who loves rides then you will enjoy the attractions the pier has to offer as It has rides to cater to everyone from merry go rounds to roller coasters for all those thrill seekers out there, If you are planning to go on multiple rides then I strongly recommend getting the £20 wrist band which will get you on all the rides as many times  as you want.

Here I am wearing a Little Mermaid bow from Hot Topic

After exploring the pier we went and sat on the beach and with It being a stone beach It wasn't the most comfortable place but It was still nice with the waves splashing against the shore and the smell of seaweed and fish In the air It Is just what you want to see and hear when you go to the seaside.

The Laines

ChoccyWockyDooDah
After spending sometime on the beach we decided to get some lunch at Ed's Diner which Is great If you love that 50's American diner feel and this followed with some exploring of what shops Brighton had to offer and we happy find lots good shops like TopShop, H&M at Churchill's Square and many more. We also discovered the Laines which are filled with lots Independent cake shops, Antique shops and the Famous ChoccyWoccyDooDah shop which was filled with many people waiting to go In their cafe and to purchase unique chocolate treats, I recommend you visit you will want to eat It all. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the North Laine which Is filled with Vintage shops and Independent Business's selling art, photos and more I will definitely be blogging about It on my next visit.

We left to come back to London at 5pm to come home and after a 2 and a half hour coach journey to Victoria we had to endure  another two journey that would usually take half an hour due to the Tube strike but despite that It was a lovely day and I can't to return.

When A British Girl Discovers Hot Topic.

During my trip to California I discovered Hot Topic which Is an alternative clothes shop and unfortunately we do not get It here In the UK unless we pay silly amounts for shipping. As soon as I stepped In I got really carried away because of just how much Disney stuff they had along with a few other things and the prices were really good also. When I got home I decided I would style all the pieces that I purchased.

"Everyone's Mad Here" - Cheshire Cat
1. Crazy Cat Lady

Here I am wearing a "You've Cat To Be Kitten Me Right Meow" t-shirt from Hot Topic and I have styled It with a floral daisy skirt from Urban Outfitters and a pair of adorable cat Vans from the Vans store In downtown Santa Monica, but fear not British readers you can get these shoes here In the UK In the shoe shop Schuh for about 40-50 pounds.

"Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty Little Ball Of Fur"

Here I am wearing a vintage style cat t-shirt that says "i will end u." from Hot Topic and I styled it with a pair of black high waisted shorts from Primark which compliments the t-shirt as It Is quite long. I then added a vintage long denim shirt from the East End Thrift Store and a pair of adorable cat suspender tights which I found on Amazon and completed the outfit with a pair of Dr Martens.

This was one of my favourite finds In Hot Topic because you see It In the shop and think Its a cute cat top and you pick It up and see the slogan at the bottom It had me laughing so I had to get It.

2. "It's A Pity And A Sin She Doesn't Quite Fit In"

Here I am wearing a Belle from Walt Disney's Beauty And The Beast crop top and a pair of plimsoll style shoes with a stain glass movie design from the same film, both of these are from Hot Topic. I styled them with a pair of vintage mom jeans from RokIt and a pink over sized shirt from the East End Store. I completed this look by keeping with the Beauty And The Beast theme by adding a necklace that I created with Mrs Potts's on it.
There Maybe Something There That Wasn't There Before."

3. "At Last I See The Light"

Here I am wearing a Tangled Jumper with Flynn Rider and Rapunzel on the front which Is from Hot Topic and styled It with vintage mom jeans from RokIt.

"When Will My Life Begin"

If you are a lover of alternative fashion and Disney then you will love Hot Topic and I for one fell In love with this store whilst I was In Hollywood, all we can do Is hope that Hot Topic comes to the UK.

California Here We Come.

Firstly I will apologise for my absence these past few weeks as I have been away on holiday and visiting family, but I am home now and have lots of things planned to post.

A few weeks ago I spent 8 days In Los Angele's most of It being In the movie capital Hollywood. Overall the trip was everything I could of wanted It to be and I got to see so much.
I also was lucky enough to visit Disneyland during Its 60th anniversary celebrations.
Because I did so much In my 8 days In LA It would be rather difficult to explain It all In one post so I shall be talking about my five favourite places that I visited.

1. Hollywood Blvd
Hollywood Blvd
Hollywood and Hyland Centre
Hollywood Blvd was the first place I visited on my trip and I recommend you do this first If you go because there Is so much to do and see.It is the home of the Hollywood walk of fame were you can see the names of thousands of Iconic names in Film and It is also the permanent home of the Academy Awards which is held In the Dolby Theatre which I was lucky enough to take a tour of, I strongly recommend this tour to anyone who Is a big fan of film and the ceremony Itself because you get to walk on the stage and learn so much about how the ceremony Is set up and many other things. Hollywood Blvd is also a great place to shop with the Hollywood and Hyland Centre offering a variety of shops from Forever 21, Sephora, Victoria's Secret and Hot Topic and you can get a great View of the Hollywood sign on the first floor balcony. Hollywood Blvd also has lots of museums such as the Hollywood Museum which is filled with movie props from both old and new films and If you are a fan of Marilyn Monroe the museum has an entire floor dedicated to her and Is filled with costumes she wore as well as her own possessions. If you fancy a photo with your favourite pop star or actor then you can visit Madame Tussuad's or the Hollywood Wax Museum which are both quite similar.

2. Warner Bros Studio Tour

Ellen Studio
The Warner Bros Studio Is located In Burbank and Is the home of the Loony Tunes cartoons, Friends and the Ellen DeGeneres Show. I really enjoyed this tour because I got to learn about how they make films and create the sets as well as seeing some sets for current TV shows. Because the Ellen DeGeneres show was off air I was lucky enough to visit the set and It was such a surreal experience I never ever thought that I would be able to see It so I am very grateful for that. The studio also has a museum which had a floor dedicated to the Batman movies and was filled with props and costumes from the films, the second floor was dedicated to the Harry Potter franchise although most of the film props and the sets are In London they had a nice selection of costumes and props at the tour. Overall I learnt a great deal from this tour about how the movie magic Is bought to life.

3.  Santa Monica Pier

Santa Monica
Santa Monica Is such a lovely place which a massive sandy beach and a pier with a theme park and arcade on it which makes for a perfect day out In the hot LA sun. If you fancy a bit of retail therapy after sunbathing on the beach you can take a five minute walk from the beach to third street promenade which is filled with lots of different shops and places to eat and entertainment all day long.

4.  Paramount Studios

Paramount Studios
The Paramount studios which Is located In Hollywood Is home to classic films such Breakfast At Tiffanie's and  Grease more recently the TV Shows Glee and Dr Phil. Like Warner Bros I got to learn about what goes on behind the scenes and see the sets of current TV shows that are airing. I also got the see the original Paramount gates and the original Bench from the film Forrest Gump Starring Tom Hanks.I strongly recommend this tour to any movie buff.

5. Disneyland

Disneyland
This list would not be complete without me including Disneyland, although I had been to Disneyland Paris only a couple of weeks earlier It has always been a dream to visit the Original Disneyland because Walt Disney himself created It and walked It's streets. Everything about it was truly Beautiful, the detail In some of the rides was ten times better and the fast pass system also was very good. I had much better character experiences because there was a lot more characters out and people queued in a orderly and polite manner.
The overall atmosphere of Disneyland Is truly magical It really Is the happiest Place on earth and I strongly recommend you visit If you love Disney. I will be talking in more detail about the Disneyland 60th In a later post.
